Shuttle After The Race
We have worked closely with local public transport providers to offer a return transport service from Gressoney-Saint-Jean to your race start village.
Our goal is to provide a smooth, regular, and sustainable transport experience that naturally adapts to runners’ arrivals and race pace. By integrating the existing local public transport network, we aim to simplify travel while reducing unnecessary journeys and adopting a more responsible approach to resource management.
What to do?
- Given the unpredictability of your arrival time, no booking is required at this stage.
- Once you cross the finish line, you will find a connecting shuttle (exact location HERE) that will take you from the finish area to the Sporthaus in Gressoney. This is a heated space where you can shower and rest.
- Once at the Sporthaus, a volunteer will give you a public transport ticket and inform you of the next available bus departure.
Transport connections by race:
- Les Sentiers des Valdôtains 120 : the ticket will allow you to travel to Pont-Saint-Martin and then to Aosta (with a connection), or to Gressoney-La-Trinité.
- Monte Rosa Trail 80 : the ticket will allow you to travel to Pont-Saint-Martin or Gressoney-La-Trinité.
- Walserwaeg Trail 45 : the ticket will allow you to travel to Pont-Saint-Martin or Gressoney-La-Trinité.
- Regina Margherita Trail 15 : the ticket will allow you to travel to Pont-Saint-Martin or Gressoney-La-Trinité.
The exact after the race timetable will be released in a few weeks, based on the official timetables of the Aosta Valley regional public transport services).
Public Transport - Support Crew
If you’d like to explore the Aosta Valley — or if your support crew wants to follow you during the race — public transport can be a useful option. Just make sure to check that the schedules align with your estimated arrival times at the aid stations.
Aosta Valley is well connected by daily bus services that link the main valley and the city of Aosta with the surrounding side valleys. Buses also link the upper valley (from Aosta to Courmayeur), the central Valley (from Aosta to Montjovet) and the Lower Valley (from Montjovet to Pont-Saint-Martin)
Tickets can be purchased in advance from authorized retailers or directly on board.
The detailed timetable will be available in a few weeks.
