About the event

The event invites runners to participate in a monumental trail running adventure through Europe's stunning 4,000-meter peaks, following the paths of historic mountaineers and alpine guides. This journey will lead runners through vibrant local communities and ancient villages brimming with traditions and legends. ​ Conquer unprecedented trails winding through the breathtaking beauty of the Aosta Valley – in the Italian Alps - from the iconic Matterhorn to the majestic Monte Rosa. The heart of the event will be the charming villages of the Walser community, in particular Gressoney-Saint-jean and Gressoney-La-Trinité, at the foot of Monte Rosa. Experience the thrill of alpine running as you cross the start line in the lush central valleys and push towards the awe-inspiring peaks. Feel the wonder and enchantment that once captivated the pioneers of these legendary routes.

This event was born of two local children’s love for the Aosta Valley, trail running and their mountains: Giuditta Turini and Franco Colle, who are both elite athletes with an impressive track record.
