MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES

International athletes (i.e. NON-Italian citizens) must provide a medical certificate as per the Italian law (DM 18/02/1982) or fill in the following form HERE, have it signed and stamped by a doctor and upload it to their myUTMB account HERE before May 1st, 2025.

  • The document must be dated less than one year before the day of the race and must include the words "Athletic sports".
  • Please note that the terms "trail race/competition" and "triathlon race/competition" or similar are not accepted by the Italian law.
  • Medical certificate must date maximum 1 year before the race date, must be valid on the race date and must expire after the event.
  • Medical certificates are accepted only in English and Italian. No other language is accepted.

Please note that It could take up to several weeks for our team to validate your medical certificate.

If you do not provide your medical certificate, you will not be able to participate in your race.

ITALIAN ATHLETES RESIDING ABROAD

Italian athletes residing abroad must:

  • Either upload a medical certificate for competitive Athletics (code S.012) by May 1, 2025, following the procedure for Italian athletes.
  • Or upload the foreign runners’ form (downloadable HERE), signed and stamped by a doctor, along with a list of the medical tests performed in accordance with Italian law DM 18/02/1982, also signed and stamped by the doctor. The list must be in English or Italian and comply with Italian law (DM 18/02/1982).

ITALIAN ATHLETES

Italian athletes have to log in to their personal account HERE and upload a medical certificate for competition in Athletics sports cod S.012 before May 1st, 2025.
